What a dedicated lane means here
A dedicated lane is an agreement, not a single load. You tell us how often freight moves between South Florida and the New York metro, the usual volume and the pickup and delivery windows. We hold the truck for those runs and agree on a lane rate, so you are not shopping the load board every time a shipment is ready.
Because we run one truck, we are honest about capacity. We will tell you which pickup days we can hold, how much of the box your freight takes, and where there is room to grow. Ask for the current schedule and we will build the plan around your real volume.
Why recurring freight belongs on one truck
Recurring freight gets better when the same carrier handles it. The driver learns the shipper's dock, the receiver's appointment desk and the paperwork each side expects. Problems that cost an hour on the first run disappear by the third.
- One rate per lane, agreed in advance, on the rate confirmation
- Same equipment every run: 26 ft dry box, hydraulic liftgate, e-track
- Updates at pickup, in transit and at delivery, plus the signed POD
- Direct line to dispatch instead of a new carrier each week
Who a dedicated box truck fits
It fits distributors replenishing New York and New Jersey accounts from Miami, importers moving cleared freight north from South Florida warehouses, and brokers with a steady customer who need a carrier they can count on. The truck is non-CDL by weight class and fits receivers where a 53 ft trailer cannot go.
Need the return leg covered too? Pair this with our New York to Miami lane, or add liftgate delivery for stops without a dock. Shipping a single load on the corridor? Our Miami to New York freight page covers one-off runs, and you can request a quote now and turn it into a lane later.

Frequently asked questions
How does a dedicated lane with Cobra US Cargo work?
We agree on the lane, the frequency, the typical volume and a lane rate up front. Our 26 ft box truck is then held for your recurring runs between Miami and New York instead of being offered to the spot market. Each run still gets its own rate confirmation and BOL, and you get updates at pickup, in transit and at delivery.
Do you run a fixed weekly schedule?
We do not publish a fixed departure schedule. Recurring runs are planned with each customer based on volume, pickup days and delivery windows. Ask dispatch for the current schedule on the Miami to New York lane and we will tell you which days we can hold for your freight before you commit.
Is there a minimum volume for a dedicated lane?
There is no fixed minimum. A dedicated lane makes sense when you ship regularly enough that holding capacity saves you time and money, for example several pallets every week. Tell us your usual pallet count, weight and frequency, and we will say plainly whether a dedicated lane or simple spot quotes fit you better.
Can a dedicated lane include stops without a dock?
Yes. The truck has a hydraulic liftgate, so a dedicated run can include stores, offices or job sites with street-level receiving, as long as the freight is commercial and the liftgate can handle each piece. Note any no-dock stops and appointment times when we set up the lane, so the driver plans the unload correctly.
