Dedicated lanes
Dedicated lanes for brokers
Cobra US Cargo LLC runs dedicated lanes for brokers, so the same freight stops going back to the load board every week. A dedicated lane puts one of our 26 ft liftgate box trucks on your recurring runs, at a lane rate agreed once, from Miami to New York or on any interstate lane.

How a dedicated lane works
A dedicated lane is an agreement, not a one-off load. You tell us the lane, how often freight moves, the usual volume and the pickup and delivery windows. We commit a dedicated box truck to those runs at a rate agreed up front, so your shipper's freight stops going back to the load board every week.
Each run still gets its own rate confirmation and BOL, and you get updates at pickup, in transit and at delivery, closed out with the signed POD. When volume changes, we adjust the plan with you instead of you starting over with a new carrier.
Miami to New York, the flagship lane
Our target lane is Miami to New York, in both directions: about 1,280 miles up I-95, with typical transit of 2 to 3 days on a solo, HOS-compliant driver. Brokers use it for South Florida distributors replenishing New York and North Jersey accounts, for importers sending cleared freight north, and for the southbound leg back into Florida. See Miami to New York freight and New York to Miami freight for pickup and delivery details.
Any interstate lane, built around your volume
Miami to New York is where we started, not where we stop. We set up dedicated lanes anywhere in the 48 contiguous states, from regional loops like Miami–Atlanta to long hauls like Miami–Chicago or Florida–Texas. Our fleet of 26 ft box trucks, plus a growing owner-operator program, gives you recurring lane capacity that keeps up as the account grows.
What brokers get from a dedicated box truck
A dedicated box truck is the simplest way to keep a steady customer happy. The driver learns the shipper's dock, the receiver's appointment desk and the paperwork each side expects, so the problems that cost an hour on the first run are gone by the third.
- One lane rate, agreed in advance and on every rate confirmation
- The same equipment profile every run: 26 ft dry box, hydraulic liftgate, e-track, ELD
- Carrier packet on request: MC authority letter, certificate of insurance, W-9
- A straight answer on capacity before you commit, from the people who dispatch the trucks
Scope your lane
Recurring runs are planned with you, not published, so ask for the current schedule. Send the lane, frequency and typical pallet count on the quote form and mark it recurring. For one-off loads anywhere in the country, see interstate box truck freight.

Frequently asked questions
How does a dedicated lane with Cobra US Cargo work?
We agree on the lane, the frequency, the typical volume and a lane rate up front. A 26 ft liftgate box truck is then committed to your recurring runs instead of being offered to the spot market. Each run still gets its own rate confirmation and BOL, and you get updates at pickup, in transit and at delivery with the signed POD.
Can a broker set up a dedicated box truck lane?
Yes, Cobra US Cargo LLC sets up dedicated box truck lanes for freight brokers on any interstate lane in the 48 contiguous states, with Miami to New York as the flagship and corridors to New Jersey, Atlanta, Chicago, Texas, Pennsylvania and the Carolinas. Send the lane, how often freight moves, the typical pallet count and the windows, and dispatch replies with a lane rate and the days it can commit.
Do you run a fixed weekly schedule?
We do not publish a fixed departure schedule. Recurring runs are planned with each broker or shipper around volume, pickup days and delivery windows. Ask dispatch for the current schedule on your lane and we will tell you which days we can commit before you sign off on the plan.
Is there a minimum volume for a dedicated lane?
There is no fixed minimum. A dedicated lane makes sense when freight moves often enough that reserved capacity saves you time and money, for example several pallets every week on the same lane. Share your usual pallet count, weight and frequency, and we will say honestly whether a dedicated lane or simple spot quotes fit you better.
