What we bring, what you bring
Cobra US Cargo brings
Lease on to our MC
Run under our interstate operating authority, MC-1645621 and USDOT 4247005, so you can haul without getting your own authority first.
Dispatch that finds the loads
Our dispatchers find and book the freight, set the appointments and handle the broker paperwork, so your time goes into driving.
Help with insurance
We help you get the right insurance in place before your first load, so you know what you need and why.
Startup guidance
New to owning a truck? We walk you through the steps from paperwork to your first load, at your pace.
Weekly pay
Owner-operators are paid every week. For how pay is structured, contact us for details.
ELD and compliance support
Help with your ELD, hours-of-service logs and the compliance paperwork that comes with running interstate.
Fuel card and discounts
A fuel card with fuel discounts, so one of your biggest costs works a little harder for you.
You bring
The truck
A 26 ft box truck, 2018 or newer, kept in good running condition. That is the only truck requirement.
A qualified driver
You, or a hired driver if you run a small fleet. Whoever drives meets our driver requirements.
Professional service
On time at pickup, careful with the freight and straight with dispatch, load after load.
Four steps to lease on
Apply or call
Send the quick application in about 60 seconds, or call or WhatsApp dispatch at (754) 288-7569 if you would rather talk first.
We check the fit
We confirm the truck (26 ft box truck, 2018 or newer) and the driver against our requirements, and answer your questions in English or Spanish.
Go over the lease
Before you sign, we go over the lease with you: how pay works, deductions and insurance. Contact us for details on any of them.
Your first load
Dispatch books your first load, sets the appointments and walks you through the paperwork on the way.
What "gross" means
Gross is the total your truck earns from the loads it hauls, before any costs come out. It is not take-home pay. Fuel, insurance, maintenance, tolls and your truck payment are paid out of gross, and what is left after them is what your business actually earns.
That is why the gross figure always comes with its qualifier: results vary by truck, availability and lanes. A truck that runs more days, keeps its maintenance current and stays legal on hours of service has a better week than one that sits. We would rather you know the math before you lease on than be surprised by it later.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a CDL to lease on my box truck?
Usually not: Cobra US Cargo LLC leases on 26 ft box trucks, and a truck with a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,000 lb or less needs no CDL. Check the GVWR on the label in the door frame, because 26 ft is the box length, not the weight rating. Whoever drives still needs a DOT medical card for interstate work and must meet our driver requirements.
Do I need my own MC number to lease on?
No, Cobra US Cargo LLC leases owner-operators on to its own interstate authority, MC-1645621 and USDOT 4247005, so you can haul without filing for your own authority first. Dispatch books the freight under our authority while you are leased on. Already have your own MC and want to talk about leasing on? Contact us for details and we will go over your situation.
How do owner-operators get paid?
Cobra US Cargo LLC pays owner-operators weekly. Owner-operators can run $6K–$10K a week in gross. Gross revenue before fuel, insurance and other expenses. Results vary by truck, availability and lanes. Pay structure, settlement timing and any deductions: contact us for details, and we go over every line with you before you lease on.
What insurance do I need as a leased owner-operator?
Cobra US Cargo LLC helps owner-operators get the right insurance in place before their first load. The coverage you need depends on your truck and your setup, so contact us for details. We go over it with you before you sign the lease, so there are no surprises later, and we point you to the coverage that fits your truck.
Do you work with owner-operators outside Miami?
Yes, Cobra US Cargo LLC leases on box truck owner-operators from anywhere in the US, because it runs interstate. Fleet owners can put a hired driver in their truck, as long as that driver meets our driver requirements. Dispatch speaks English and Spanish, so call or WhatsApp (754) 288-7569 (Mon–Fri, 8 am–6 pm ET) in the language you prefer.
Can I talk to you before I buy a truck?
Yes, Cobra US Cargo LLC takes calls from people who are still deciding, and no trucking experience is needed to start the conversation. Our only truck requirement is a 26 ft box truck, 2018 or newer, so a short call before you buy can keep you from buying a truck that cannot go to work. Contact us and we'll walk you through it.
